Title: Call to the Kin
Post by: Kinglubu on March 15, 2012, 11:37:09 AM
It's BadLuckIrish btw lost my ipod. But I have {Call to the Kindred} in my Nombie. My friend wants to build a artifact deck. Would CotK work on Artifact creatures. For instance if he has a {Wurmcoil Engine} enchanted with CotK could he put down a {Pilgrim's Eye}?

No it wouldn't work because Artifact is a subtype and not a creature type. If {Pilgrim's Eye} was a Wurm or {Wurmcoil Engine} was a Thopter, then yes it would work.

Sorry but you would. {headless skabb} doesn't care how it got on the BF whether you tapped land or an enchantment. To exile a creature is an additional cost.

But it's an additional casting cost and since kindred puts it onto the field without casting... I wouldn't think you would have to

I agree with this, you aren't casting it, so you shouldn't have to pay any additional costs

{headless skaab} says when you cast it exile creature from your GY as aditional cost since your not casting it but putting directly into play you do not have to play the aditional cost.

Wow just when I think I have learned the rules something comes along and blows my mind. Getting big zombies out for free. Sounds like fun to me. I think I will run a kindred in my main deck. Sorry for giving out the wrong info.
