This is the deck i want to play on the gameday!
It's a american control with {Maze's End} as a win con. I have {Ætherling} and {Prognostic Sphinx} one of each in because im not sure which one is better. Ætherling is an additional wincon if a gate gets milled, destroyed, etc.
But sphinx handles  {Stormbreath Dragon}!
Do you have some ideas?

Ætherling all the way. Your control should be able to handle the dragon :)

Don't think so!
I can just counter or verdict it.
Most times i will verdict his board an then he will cast the dragon while i won't have enough mana to counter it or draw another verdict in a short time.
That happened very often in my testing games...

You mana base is very finicky. Consistently dropping {anger of the gods} and {supreme verdict} when you need them seems like a near impossible feat

Add {chromatic lantern} or some other mana fixer. Reduce the {Maze's End} count by 1-2.

Seems like a plan!
Lantern is to slow because you can't drop a lantern on turn 2 for a turn 3 anger.
But prophetic prism would be a possibility!
Also droping a maze should be fine.

Lantern sets up turn 4 supreme verdict, even if you miss a land drop. I do like the prism idea tho.

I play 27 lands!
To add lantern would increas the number to 30.
Cut lands is also not possible since i need gates and lands that enter untapped.
I often have to much lands in the late game and with 3 more i would draw too many althought i need a useful spell to buy time to end the game with maze.
