So if I use heliod or his spear (can't remember which)'s ability, do I get an enchantment creature token that gives a creature I control +2+1 or just a 2/1 creature

Youre putting a creature into play not an aura.
I think he was confused as to whether or not you could bestow the token onto something because it is an enchantment creature. As the above people have said though, you get a 2/1 creature token.
Ok. Seems expensive for just a 2/1 creature
Not expensive when {Ethereal Armor} or {Ajani's Chosen} is around...
It adds to {sphere of safety}. It's a big thing in long matches
