{Hydroform} you can't attack with it correct? It becomes a creature and suffers summoning sickness right? Had this come up at lunch today and wasnt sure.
If that land was under your control from the beginning of the turn then it won't have summoning sickness when turned into a creature. You could just play hydroform on an untapped land you put down a turn prior and you'd be good to go to swing for 3 flying
Oh what about artifacts with similar effects?

As long as the artifact lived through an Untap phase, you're good to go.
Like the keyrunes, tapping them for mana could be done the turn they come into play, but transforming them into creatures means doing anything that asks them to tap requires them to have cleared the summoning sickness rule
Could I see the summoning sickness rule?
It's 302.6
I... don't know how to embed rules here :|
Thanks but the way I'm reading it
If you've only had the land or artifact for one turn you can't Change it to a creature and have it attack correct?
You can't have it attack, although nothing is stopping you from turning it into a creature that turn the same way nothing is stopping you from playing a creature without haste

To clarify, creatures with vigilance also have summoning sickness so you cannot attack with them either.
The rule.
302.6. (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=302.6.): A creature's activated ability with the tap symbol or the untap symbol in its activation cost can't be activated unless the creature has been under its controller's control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. A creature can't attack unless it has been under its controller's control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. This rule is informally called the "summoning sickness" rule.
And if you look at the rulings text for the card you get the specifics relating to creatures turned from land, which is consistent with the advice here.
Always check the rulings though!
This should be in rules not combo corner, also a note if you turn a keyrune into a creature before your next upkeep you can't tap it for mana since it is now the activated ability of a creature

Well if I could I would move it but I'm not a mod
Also I apologize if this was an inconvenience to anyone being in combo corner
Thanks everyone for your help!
