Main idea is to control the board until one of my beaters come out...thassa plus master of cruelties is a great win con as well

Feels a little incomplete...thoughts? Sideboard suggestions?

Shouldn't you just run a playset of {Dissolve} and take out a {Counter}?

Edit: oh someone already mentioned that :3

Yea, replace all {cancel}'s with {dissolve}

Is Thassa mainly used as just a scry? To me it doesn't seem like she will be that useful. Takes up the space where a counter could be used instead. Also do you not have any blood crypts?

Thassa is in to make master of cruelties unblockable and for scry...I do have crypts...I haven't actually worked my mana out completely yet

 {Rogue's Passage} for your master of cruelties

Leave Grixis to Lady!

Jk, I appreciate how you were going old school with the {Cancel}, but {Dissolve} is the same cost plus a little treat!

No ral zarek whatsoever. You aren't really using his tapping/untap pig ability all that much. It'd be better to play 2 more Jace or Chandra. Maybe liliana (2BB) to help dig for swamps like blood crypt and whatnot.

Seems better, but I agree with no ral zereks. He's just been proven to not be impressive.

I think you can cut  {Stymied Hopes} as you have quite a bit of counters now and you don't want to just sit with a hand of counters

Decided to go with {teleportal} as it will trigger {young pyromaster} as well as be another sorcery card for {spellheart chimera}

Lordy, so many options! I'm not QUITE sure what you're going for....looks like lots of burn and some control.

It also seems more Izzet-flavored, seeing as the main color in Grixis is normally black. But I'm diggin' the Spellheart Chimeras....and I understand what you're doing with Young Pyromancer, but I don't really like him in a Grixis (I like him in Red Deck Wins & Aggro Burn). Thassa is also nice to have, but I'm wondering if she fits as well in this type of deck.

But I'll just give you a list of THINGS that I like for Grixis.

{Ætherize}
{Agent of the Fates}
{Artificer's Hex}
{Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver}
{Baleful Eidolon}
{Turn / Burn}
{Chandra's Phoenix}
{Coerced Confession}
{Consuming Aberration}
{Cryptborn Horror}
{Doom Blade}
{Desecration Demon}
{Dimir Charm}
{Dreadbore}
{Goblin Electromancer}
{Gridlock}
{Grim Return}
{Hypersonic Dragon}
{Izzet Charm}
{Killing Glare}
{Lifebane Zombie}
{Lightning Strike}
{Liliana's Reaver}
{Mind Grind}
{Nighthowler}
{Nightveil Specter}
{Rakdos Shred-Freak}
{Rakdos Cackler}
{Spike Jester}
{Ultimate Price}
{Viper's Kiss}
{Voyage's End}
{Wight of Precinct Six}
{Wring Flesh}

I absolutely love pairing Agent of the Fates with Voyage's End, for the following reason: You can bounce it back to your hand and sac someone else's stuff! And the Scry is nice.

Viper's Kiss I didn't enjoy initially; but I love it now because it completely stops annoying/amazing creature abilities: Ex. AEtherling, if they're all tapped out.

All Zombies and Demons are a must, of course, as well as cards that pull things from/work off of graveyards (Nighthowler, Grim Return, Consuming Aberration).

But really, Grixis is all about fun & flavor....so play what you like and like what you play! :D Nicol Bolas would just enjoy that he has another minion running about doing his biddings.

I'm def gonna look over this list later but main thing I'm trying with this deck is protecting myself with counter and bounce spells long enough to have the master come out then let thassa give him an open path then burn...chimaera is an alt win con and young pyro produces chump blockers when need be

{consuming aberration} is a win con unto himself.

{Traumatize} works with Chimera. Kind of a hefty drop tho.
