BlackJester's Tricks 36: Pump-kin Pi!
Today is officially Pi day! (03.14) In honor of this occasion, today's combo has (loosely) to do with pie.
{Kinsbaile Borderguard} + {Black Sun's Zenith} and/or {Mimic Vat}
When the Kithkin dies, it pumps out a Kithkin Soldier for each counter on it, not just +1/+1 counters. We also know that if there are enough -1/-1 counters placed on a creature, it will die before the +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters annihilate each other. So, if you sweep the board with a massive BSZ, you'll be left with as many Soldiers as there were +1/+1 AND -1/-1 counters on the guard!
Add the vat for exponentially good times! (Had to fit some math in there. ;D)
Omg it's pie day! How did I forget??
All hail Jester's dorkness!!!! <3
btw not a bad combo either =P
I knew that & I'm a goblin. Also, what exactly does this have to do with pi? ???

I really don't know

It's kinda infinite?

Pumpkin Pie -> Pump(out)(Kith)kin pie
Lulz. But I r not a midget eating huuman.
This should be open for infinite combos. Or better yet, that {Mirror Sigil Sergeant} combo we did the math for lol.

Bah! But Kithkin are so tasty! 🍔 Especially meat pie. A little fatty, but D-lish!
I don't really get the correlation between pi an infinite combos... ???

It's a finite number. 😁
Noooo it's irrational. :P

Ok, almost infinite!
Nope. Irrational #s never end. It's digits of pi have the same amout as the real #s between 1&2.
Ahh, I can't do any sort of math when tired, but that is completely correct!

Pi is an irrational, real number that falls between 3.1 and 3.2.

Never enter a {Battle of Wits} unarmed, I always say. 💣🔫
Hey, the number of digits of π is infinite, but the number itself isn't. It is a number smaller than 4, and 4 surely isn't infinite
Technically pi is a non terminating non repeating number so it's infinite to a degree but not the same degree as infinity

My final word on this topic is that Magic infinite combos rely on repeating patterns. Irrational numbers are non-repeating.

I support this message. :D
I know the combo was a bit of a stretch, I was trying to find other pie related combos:
{Crabapple Cohort}
{Squeaking Pie Grubfellows}
{Squeaking Pie Sneak}
{Morsel Theft}
even {Thieving Magpie}
but none of them really lead to anything worthy.
Can anyone else come up with a good pie-related combo? I'd love to see it!
Maybe try something with circles?
Or something for people who don't write the date backwards :P

That's wut I'm saying. The same amount of digits as there are #s between 1-2.

Near infinite, exactly. Digits are infinite, the number never swells past 3.15 without rounding.

Those people are CRAY-ZEE!! 😳
I always write numbers from most significant to least.
If I wake up from a coma, the first thing I'd want to know is "What year us it?" then "What month is it?". The day is not really that important.

It's cuz you're a Canuck. The rest of us don't have to worry about going comatose after ODing on maple syrup. ;D

So, you don't think that drinking milk that expired a year ago is more significant than milk that expired yesterday? Want to come over for a glass of milk? ;D
(I lost my cousin to maple syrup. They had him cremated and made into a lollipop. It was sad... :( and delicious! :9)
Milk that expired a year ago... *shudder* but, you cannot drink that! It will be a solid by then! Hahaha, if it's not then that's some seriously pasteurized milk!! Besides, I love milk! It's my favorite! <3 So I have plenty here thanks. :P
I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. I'm sure he was a very brave lumberjack. RIP Jest's cousin! May you find plenty a beer and Canadian Bacon in the afterlife. :'( :'( :'(
Lol to explain my date reference. In Australia we say its the 16th of march, 2012. Hence we write the date 16/03/2012
I've noticed that some people over your side of the globe do things a little different ;)

I typically use the ISO 8601 international date format YYYY-MM-DD, so today would be 2012-03-15. Dashes are sometimes replaced with dots if it'll affect code. 'Cause, yeah I'm nerdy like that. 8)
