 {Gods Willing} (and protection form Red in General) can it protect vs. {mizzium mortars} overloaded and {anger the gods}

Yes even though they don't target they still do damage, and protection prevents damage. So your card is safe

To expAnd on what millionlittle said:
The spells don't target and will hit your protected creature, but another aspect of protection prevents damage from sources of the type protected against. Without any other affects in play, the damage taken from these sources will be reduced to zero. I know there are some affects that prevent damage reduction, but I can't remember what they are.  If one of those is in play your creature will take damage normally.

There's also a Rakdos card I believe that enchants making all damage can't be prevented.
