Has anyone else had the problem of a box of dragon shields being either short a few sleeves or not fitting to their cards well?
I've only bought 2 boxes and both had extra sleeves
I've bought many boxes, and love the brand. They've always had extra sleeves. Never had an issue with fitting, either. Only problem with them is how they collect dirt.
What color did you get, and how many sleeves are you short? I might be able to help.
I've bought plenty of boxes. They're always miscut, but never short. I've always had too many. I've heard the horror stories about having them horribly miscut, but I've never seen it happen.
Also, I stopped using Dragon shield about a year ago. I like KMC better. They're always cut to the same size, they don't get dirty in 0.6 seconds and display foils better. I've also never had one rip on me yet, but I don't play as much paper as I used to either. Dragon shield are unmatched in durability.
Kmc? I will have to look into those, because I'm looking into double sleeving my Karn edh so I want them safe.
You'll be safe with either. Dragon Shields are super hard to break.
I have bought a lot of dragon shields over the years and have never had an issue/complaint. One set was cut a little long. I don't think I've torn a single one
I have one deck double sleeved in KMC perfect fits inside of KMC super (purple). The other EDH deck is in KMC Matte (blue). My cube is in Dragon Shield black, Channel Fireball had a promo for 5 boxes for $40, and the cube gets shuffled 100's of times and none have ever broken.
But 90% of the time I'm playing MTGO, so I don't have to buy sleeves or shuffle my own deck.
Do either of these cause cards to decay faster? That's what happened when I bought sleeves. They were pro something or other

Grats on 100 Karma.
Also, no they do not. Some cheaper sleeves have PVC or BPA. That hurts cards. But mostly climate and oily fingers when handling cause those problems.
