Hey guys! Figured I'd make this post here, as it's addressed to all our rule lovers!
First off, I've seen a bunch of people answering questions. This is amazing! I remember when it was just myself and a couple other mods who would do most of the answering. It's good to see that our community has grown into more seasoned players who can answer increasingly tricky questions. I'm proud of you guys!
Second, keep in mind, if you have a question of your own, it deserves its own topic! I haven't seen much of this lately, but try and keep each topic to its original question. If your question is directly related to the topic, or expanding on the question, then it's usually fine to add it on. However, just because the original topic had to do with Planeswalkers, doesn't mean we should ask every single question about planeswalkers in one thread! If you have a different question, make your own topic. It'll be less likely to be looked past, and it'll help anyone who has the same question find it easier!
Also, I've seen a lot of questions recently blow into 2-3 page topics. This is normally fine, as long as the question has been correctly answered beforehand. If we start discussing card interactions and such before the question has been given the correct answer, it can get confusing to people. If the answer is jumbled up in a bunch of discussion, it makes it more difficult for the OP, and anyone else who has the same/a similar question to find.
Speaking of which, I'm somewhat to blame for this. I'm going to begin stamping all the questions with RESOLVED again, to make things simple for everyone again. So basically, discussion is fine (I'll never tell you guys to not talk about Magic!) but just try and hold off until we have a Resolved Answer, please!
I'd also like to remind everyone about the rules compilation/FAQ that's stickied up top here. Dudecore took the time to compile the basic gameplay rules and keywords for you guys, and I made an FAQ based on....well, frequently asked questions (what a shocker, eh?). If there's anything you guys think we should add to this, shoot me a pm and let me know!
If there's anything that you think can be done to make the Rules section run smoother, I'm all ears! I am but a pm away!
Again, I'd like to thank you guys for your contributions to the Rules section. It's good to know I don't have to check every 2 minutes to make sure things are being answered; I know when I'm gone, this section is in capable hands. Keep it up, and thanks for reading!
