Title: Ordeal of Heliod
Post by: Mattao19 on October 06, 2013, 01:51:47 AM
I have no creatures but my opponent only has a 4/4  {Experiment One} 3 +1/+1 counters on it. And I'm at 3 life can I enchant the Experiment One with my  {Ordeal of Heliod} to gain 10 life (if he attacks)

This is awesome.

I played my friend and did it and we assumed that it would give me the 10 life but he still swung for 5 (new counter) and I healed 10 but next couple of turns he got me :( worth a shot though lol

I mean obviously as a last resort. Not a good idea to boost your opponents creatures in general.

If they already have more than 3 counters does ordeal fall off when it's put on? Or is it when it attacks?

Funny thing is you can regenerate the experiment one
Make it a 2/2 swing gets a counter 3/3 and still kill you

Regen taps it though. So would have to wait another turn to attack.  Would work though.

Regen doesn't tap. Regen makes it so when the creature dies it taps instead
