My friends have decided that Milling in a fun win-con now....so I'd like to annoy them by creating a Golgari-flavored graveyard reanimation/dredge deck! Pointers please :) needs to be Standard.
The guy that can scavenge for 0?
Oh, and how about the thing that gives all creatures in your graveyard scavenge, and the cost is equal to there mana cost. Things that can get creatures out of the graveyard and...beaters like {kalonian tusker}. And since your having so many big things, why not {pit fight}?
{deaths shadow}... Scavenge 1...

yes, that's the one. He could (in theory) give some flexibility to your deck choices. Let you throw in something that your friends would REALY hate
In standard, {Traumatize} yourself. Bam you have graveyard utility for the rest of the game.

They Traumatized me enough without me having to do it. That's the idea of me making this deck, because they'll be doing exactly what I need.
{slitherhead} is that nifty scavenge for zero guy. Otherwise varolz, {desecration demon}, {dreg mangler}, {deadbridge Goliath}, {lotleth troll}, {alpha authority} to protect your scavenge targets!

^^ This, thank you!!!
{Nemesis of mortals} will do amazingly!

Yes! This card is amazing against mill! My friend plays a mill deck, and a lot of the time, I have a 10/10 for {G}{G}{G}{G}
{Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} if you really want to go on creatures in graveyard. Sacrifice all of your creatures to deal damage + add counters and reduce cost of {Nemesis of mortals}
Obviously {Scavenging Ooze} and {Deathrite Shaman}!
I would go {U}{B}{G} and include {Psychic Spiral}s to mill the mill decks. My friend decided that mill decks were really fun and then I made a mill deck where I milled myself and then {Psychic Spiral}ed; he doesn't use mill decks any more.
Edit: I would also include {Commune with the Gods}. It mills you and can fetch you a creature or a {Deadbridge Chant}
{Elixir of immortality} as a 4 of...
Along with what everyone else chimed in with {Psychic Spiral}, {Rise of the Dark Realms} and {Obzedat's Aid} are staple anti-mill in my play group.
Before standard rotated a buddy of mine played a killer graveyard deck with {Unburial Rites}, {Craterhoof Behemoth} and all sorts of golgari goodies.
Make sure that you have {Lotleth Troll} as a target for all of your scavemges he's a boss with dat regen also can't be targeted by doom blade :D

Yes.
And by yes I mean no.
{Treasury Thrull}!!!!!!
{Deathrite Shaman}.
{Varolz, the Scar-Striped} and {Vexing Devil} are a nice combo.
{ghoul tree}
{living death}
{Dreg Mangler} is very good
I finished this deck, as well as my Halloween Special deck if you guys want to take a gander :) they're in the Standard section.
{Slitherhead} will be your best friend.

{Slitherhead} has the same problem as {Memnite}, it has such a small effect on the game that it isn't even worth the opportunity cost.
I wish Memnite was a Myr :/
{Whip of Erebos}... Nuff said.

It counts double. I discard it for a +1/+1 on Lotleth Troll, then Scavenge it for 0 for a +1/+1 on anything else.....it's awesome :D
