Title: Dotp
Post by: Destore117 on September 29, 2013, 10:50:48 PM
So played Duels of the Planeswalkers for the first time on my bestfriend's Xbox this weekend. Was so much fun. Beat the main campaign with the Chandra deck. Got to the end of Planechase (but everyone gangs up on me and Ajani has unlimited life -.-)
But yeah was alot of fun. Just wish it had like. A real deck builder. And you could do free for all with more than one person off line.

I've been playing it on iPad this weekend. My only complaint is it skips phases if you can't do anything. In real life, you just don't skip phases if you can't do anything, so you shouldn't in DotP either.

It does go to the step.  For like 1 second.  You can change that in settings to make it ask for your permission to change phases even if you can't do anything.

Ah okay. I didn't realize that. I'll leave it like it is; it doesn't bother me. My problem was the fact that DotP is used as an introduction tool for new players and that's not a good habit to teach people. Since I already know how phases work, I'm fine.

Playing this game definitely gave me a better understanding of both priority and phases
Plus the Story is pretty cool to.
Idk why But I always assumed Nicol Bolas was a good character. Not like the super evil god dragon.
