Say I have a 3/3 {Witchstalker} in play and my opponent ON MY TURN my opponent casts {Warped Physique} with 4 cards in hand so my Witchstalker gets +4/-4 does my stalker get 2 +1/+1 counters bc warped physique is a B and U spell or just one?
(Opponent had a {Glaring Spotlight} on the field btw)
Sweet thanks!
No, you only get 1 +1/+1 counter because they only cast one spell, triggering the ability once.
Ok that's what I thout originally just double checking thanks bud
The ability checks to see if a spell meets the criteria, in this case blue or black. It does this with every spell, but will only trigger once for each spell cast. Since it sees that it is blue or black (if either is true, statement is true), the ability goes on the stack. Does that explain it well?

I really hate second guessing people but are you 100% on that one?
I really thought it would trigger twice.
Just like if you had a {staff of death magus} and a {staff of mind magus} out you would double benefit...
About 95% sure and another MTG forum confirmed it: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=526417
The reason both Maguses would trigger though is because they are two different triggered abilities that are each triggered by the spell.
Edit: and here's another article: http://blogs.magicjudges.org/rulestips/2013/08/witchstalker-only-gets-one-counter-for-a-spell-thats-both-blue-and-black/
Agrus is right on this one.
Same ruling involving {Quiron Druid} (1G)... Really bad spelling :/

Is that supposed to be a {quirion dryad}?
Yes. Yea it is :D
Well anyways, same ruling. They'll explain it on the card's FAQ if you need more explaining done.
