This may sound crazy, but I think Immortal Servitude wouldn't be bad here. Loads of 1s n 2s

Normal deck variance occures not matter what deck your playing, this deck is very paticular on it's colors which will always hold it back from being a consistant top competitor. I usually play control for this reason. In a deck designed play into late game perfect colors is not super important and higher amounts of land make for lower impact from normal deck variance.
Quote from: JordanCirk on September 29, 2013, 12:17:57 AMWow...read both of yours way too fast. I had like 20sec to read and post then. Yea that was to the other guy and didn't mean it as high and mighty as it came out.Quote from: Kaleo42 on September 28, 2013, 08:47:15 PMWas that for me or pirate? :OQuote from: Pirate John on September 28, 2013, 02:12:27 PMI take it youre kinda new or sarcastic. Let's be honest. Your deck has plenty of land for its curve, esp with grisly salvage and commune. It's obviously your shuffling or hand keeping.
Skilled players know when they can keep a hand or not. Way I see it, if you don't have a green and black source in your hand, you don't keep it.
Quote from: Pirate John on September 30, 2013, 01:53:12 AMUnlucky is right. Also commune does not pull land. One of the two games with bad mana I used commune and got 3 black sources and two creatures with a turn two commune when I had green and white mana in play. Wouldnt have been terrible if all but my two voices were black creatures. Ended up playing a deathrite and getting one black mana to work with per turn but it was not enough.
He has 4 grisly salvage and 4 commune with the gods. He should NOT have mana problems. You'd have to be extremely unlucky to move through the top 6 cards of your deck and not find land you can settle with.
Quote from: iMEAN U MAD on September 30, 2013, 01:47:28 PMYes you are. Hydra is not 3 or less mana, does not scavenge well, and is not {thragtusk}. It has no place here. 5 mana to monstrous the fleece is a far better top end.
Am I the only one who wants to pull my hair out when I see builds like these without {Kalonian Hydra} ?????!!!! Or any standard deck with green for that matter! Lol
