Title: Stack, attack, counters
Post by: Imdowd80 on March 12, 2012, 11:18:33 PM
If I have an unruly mob out and two other creatures, and my oppent attacks me with 3 creatures. Let's say my two creatures die and my mob is blocking a creature that would kill it, do the counters go on the mob before the attack? And how do we figure out what creatures die in what order?

Damage is dealt all at once, so I think the mob will die.

If on the other hand you use a {doom blade}, {go for the throat} or {tragic slip} between attackers are declared and your blockers are declared, you might be able to save it.?

Yeah removal before blocking makes mob bigger allowing him to possibly survive blocking

Before the attack nothing would have died yet.

Unless some post-blocker trickery or first/double strike is involved, all creatures are deal combat damage at the same time and the {Unruly Mob} would take damage before the counters would get put on. 💀 mob.
