Title: Chronomantic invincibility!!!
Post by: Moocow4u2 on September 24, 2013, 03:10:47 PM
{chronomantic escape}

It seems that this spell is playable every 3rd turn so I'm thinking if they're spaced out, 3 casts, one per turn... You should have immunity from their attacks xD

Turn one creatures can't attack you until your next turn, it's removed from the game with 3 counters on it

Turn two play the second, no attacks for you until your next turn :P time counter removed from first (2 left) second removed with 3

Turn 3 play your third! Time counter on the first is now 1, time counters on the second is at 2 and the third is at 3 now

Turn 4 the first should have the final counter removed and is now playable without it's mana cost then removed again :D 3 counters... The second is at 1, third is at 2

Infinite loop!

It should. It says until your next turn you can't be attacked, exile this card with 3 time counters on it

It says once those counters are up (in the suspend thing) play it without its mana cost and as part of playing it you exile it with 3 time counters on it :P seems like an infinite loop

Except realistically, it won't go off until turn give or six. You cast with suspend on turn 3, and it doesn't resolve for three more turns...

Sorry guys i think this one is wrong... suspend says: "Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay {x} and exile it with three time counters on it..."
The operative term here being cast from hand, as after suspend is done, you cast from exile.
Also i was under the impression that if you pay the suspend cast, you don't get the ability from the spell?

Yes exiled but with another 3 counters

right so speeding up the counters so you can remove three every upkeep would be a lock.
