Imade my first draft like two weeks ago and I opened the second booster and there was a {mutavault} and I passed it!
I took the {young pyromancer instead !
That sucks, I feel for you man.
I did a DGM one first. I took the {Savafeborn Hydra}, thinking it was a simic guildgate in the back. It was FOIL {Breeding Pool}.
I put {Mark of the Vampire} on {Haunted Plate Mail}. Thought it would stick on permanently, but fizzled end of turn. Cost me the match 😢

Someone at my LGS draft Friday night passed a foil {Thoughtseize} in the other pod... Why can't that happen to me??!

I think you pick foil thoughtsieze no matter what. Change flavor text to: pays for draft
I only started playing last month and went to my first draft last week. I passed a money rare (not sure what it was) cause it wasn't in the colour I was playing. Ended up coming last out of 21. Tonight I'm picking all my rates first lol.
Well, make sure if you do that you know how much they're worth. Otherwise you end up with 5color bad stuff.
Good point. I have been reading up so hopefully won't make the same mistake again. I'm not concerned with the cost really but it would be nice to have something decent to trade for cards I want.
