Title: Pod reanimator
Post by: Greg54js on March 12, 2012, 03:51:25 PM
So I was just thinking after reading through a couple pod and reanimator decks, what would happen If you combine the two? I think it would be a sick combo but I know it will have it's downsides..

Well would you be keeping it mono Black? Or diluting it with Green?
If you're keeping it mono black then just make sure you watch your life loss  :).
If you dilute it with green, I think it might be too slow. =/
Otherwise I think it sounds like fun!

U could use green for mana accel and removal, I know {naturalize} is one of my best friends.

Well it would have to be able to flashback {unburial rights} so I'd probably run a few sunpetal groves and isolated chapels to try and limit the life loss. But I'm not sure how I would even begin to build it.. Any good ideas?

{Birthing Pod} + {Rise From the Grave} (for an example of reanimaters).
Couple it with {Grave Pact} at {Feldon's Cane} possibly to keep them rotating.

This process also SCREAMS {Gravecrawler}!!! Have a playset of these guys and then every other creature (or most or some or whatever) is 1 CMC higher than him, then keep that process rotating? Just a suggestion.

Wow how could I miss that amazing 1 drop that never dies. For the most part I have the deck laid out but I still need to work on the right curve

How about using {nim's deathmantle}?

Perfect, keep four mana free each round and no creature will even have to reach the GY.
