Title: I think I've figured out how to use evolve

I think it fits best in mana ramp. You have to keep playing bigger and bigger threats. What archetype does that?

Evolve is my favorite new mechanic. I think it fits neatly with most {U}{G} decks. Glad you're playing it too!

I've tried building a {B}{U}{G} deck with Evolve/Undying and {Zameck Guildmage} for never dying creatures, and card advantage. Never got it to work though

There's a lot of evolve in my {R}{U}{G} Commander deck, of which {Animar, Soul of Elements} is the commander. +1/+1 counters all over the place, and Animar makes the bigger guys cheaper to play.

Considering Green/Blue, aka Simic, is pretty much devoted to the "Evolve" mechanic, then I'd say Green/Blue is the way to go. A mono Green would probably work nicely as well, but Green/Blue is just THE choice when it comes to Evolve. And splashing it with some Infect/Unblockable is always fun ;] (that's the devious Dimir coming out in me).
