Myrs are overlooked way too much, I personally think that they are absolutely rediculous! I had a myr architype deck that could work in two ways, use {adaptive automatons}, and {galvanizers} to body all my little tiny myrs, or use the mana myrs to get a turn four {elesh norn}. A third way, was to ramp to a combo - {venser} + {myr battlesphere} or {frost Titan}! What do you all think about the myrs?
They are ok. Remind me of artifact elves
Personally, I don't like Myrs. I remember when I won a match with a {Paladium Myr}. I looked into its eyes and said those words....
"I love you."
...nothing. No emotion whatsoever. I will never have my heart broken like that again, not ever. I will never run myrs.

*Sniff* i feel your pain man.....i told my {Phyrexian Ingester} i love you.....and then it ate me....(i get great internet from inside this thing though!!)
I remember when {Mindslaver} told me I loved it.

Nice!
But seriously, {Mindslaver} loved me first.
But seriously seriously I have for so long wanted to run Myrs, and never have. Of course I don't have any great ones yet. {Myr Welder} is probably the best I have.

(Obi-Wan Voice) "You do love me!"
Psh, artifact Elves...
I could sit down and legitimately make a Myr deck, with actual thought and care provided, but no matter how I built it, Elves would {Overrun} all over it! That is, as long as {Wellwisher} and {Priest of Titania} sitting on {Gaea's Cradle} don't cause a massive {Hurricane} to kill them first
I personally think Myrs are stupidly good in Standard if they're done right. My friend won Game Day with his Myr deck (That I uploaded), beating nearly all the popular archetypes that I've seen (Zombies, Spirits, Tokens, Werewolves, all that good stuff)

Erm, Myr would survive a {Hurricane}. ;)

That's not the point though. You {Wellwisher}, (presumably multiple times throughout her being out) gain tons of your life from your elves, tap Priest and Cradle for tons of mana, {Hurricane} for X, which is opponents health, survive thanks to Wisher, win! Or you can {Squall Line}, either one works. Alt. win cons
I luv my {myr superions} in my {heartless summoning} deck.......they are like a 4/5 {memnite} for goodness sake.

Does having a cost of 0 get around his rule of only being cast by creature mana?

Sure, you pay 0 mana. All of which was paid for by 0 creatures. ;D
