Notes: Essence of the wilds based living weapons deck
|
After a quick thought on the thread about living weapons, I thought I'd put together a deck to see how it would go (I dont own all of these, but im sure someone does)
Anyways I'll probably test it on cockatrice or something.
If you get a good hand you can have essence out on turn 3, turn 4 if you have to use a myr and then everything after that should be easy.
This could be a really fun deck, imagine a batterskull entering with a 6/6 attached to it!
Any suggestions on how to either bounce stuff from the battlefield and back again, or how to get them in my hand to cast again?
Example, if I play a few of the weapons early to chump block, and want to drop them again later when the essence is out.
Or
If I want to drop more birds or elves as mana tappers, etc. (returning essence to the battlefield after)
Splash white for {glint hawk} which can bounce artifacts or blue for {Esperzoa}. But eaperzoa isnt standard at the moment. Not a lot of artifact bounce in standard. If using care about standard u could also try blinking them with momentary blink or putting them in the yard with {Karn liberated} or {venser the soujerner}
Doing this would allow you frequent use but at a price
Yeah something along the lines of venser is what I was thinking of, but maybe unsummon might be easier, as I have the birds for any colour mana..
Thanks :)
Wow I post a deck just like this a few hours earlier and no one comments guess my naming sucks
Could run {steel sabotage}
Again I'm back to my usual 70 cards lol.
Possibly the easiest way to bounce (with the unsummon cards) and I won't have to wory so much if I don't see a essence in my opening hand.
