I feel this como has high potentail, but i have yet to figure out the best way to break it.

Pay enough life to get 17 cards in hand, discard 10, gain 20, opponent loses 20.
That's 4 cards and a lot of mana to cast em all though.

I disagree. The combo has tons of potential, legacy in particular.
Turn 1. {City of Brass} {Dark Ritual} {Necropotence} {Lotus Petal} {Confessor}
EOT Draw entire deck
Turn 2. x land more lotus petals play game ending combo
EDIT: You could probably end it turn 1, would have to look more into it
It might help to have {Tireless Tribe} or {Lotleth Troll} in play, and a deck full of {Elvish Spirit Guide} and {Simian Spirit Guide}.
Are you able to discard your whole deck with just {Confessor} and {Necropotence}? I dont think so..

The deck is already BW adding green and red would compromise the combo too much IMO
If you want to add a third color I'd go with Red because you get the option of finishing the game in a single turn (technically two but meh). By having simian spirit guides you could use {Final Fortune} and {Last Chance} to play much more aggressively.
Check this out:
Turn 1. -part 1- x land dark ritual into Necropotence. (3 cards)
2x simian spirit guides or lotus petals into a final fortune (3 cards, 6 total)
End of Turn pay what 15 life? Exile 15 then put em in your hand
Get extra turn
Turn 1. -part 2- x land confessor x2 lotus petal (sundial of the infinite}, anither final fortune, draw deck then play game ending combo or just play a land and use your game ending combo if you top decked it from the initial 15 cards
