So, I was thinking to myself the other day - foil cards are cool, but maybe everyone really takes it to a whole new level.
So what does everyone else think?
Are foil cards as overrated as I am saying they are? Or do they have the value that everyone else says they have?
Simply put, I'll always use a foil over a non-foil. Theyre purdy.
Yeah, I would too, but would you trade 3 of one card just to get a of that card?
Well besides being pretty (omg foil {Lotus Cobra} Is mesmerizing!) I think it all comes down to collectibility and rarity. I think it's the collectors rather than the players who are the driving force here. I mean why else would there be such a rare and elusive thing such as the "unofficial alternate 4ed" set. XD
Yeah, I think as a player, I just care about the cards, but if I have a shot at a good foil, then I take it!
I usually trade my foils to a friend and get the same card (non-foil) and more. I like foils, but I like the fact that others like them even more. 😁

I tend to take advantage of that a lot
I don't like playing using foils. The cards are a little bit thicker and I don't like the deck protectors. So if you know what your doing you can cut to put the foil on the bottom
Hmm, I'll keep that in mind
You get a lot of practice with the intro decks and dual decks. The foils are a little bit thicker
Cool
Not really its cheating but I can't not cut to the foil

Darn......well, that makes sense
