You can't run {Unburial Rights} if it's post rotation

Looks pretty good. Remove the {unburial rites} and add drawpower or removal. It you could try running 2 deadbridge chants.

Rites is a stand-In for rescue from the underworld.

Should I run {golgari charm} main or board? And what should I put in board in general?
{artificer's hex}? {duress}?

Yah, because I have the budget to run a play set which costs $230 :/

This will never work how you want it too. Rites was possible because it had flashback meaning you could salvage it away. Easy. The deck won't fiction very well if you have to luck into reanimator spells

I agree. {Unburial Rights} was God Reanimator. In this build, if you grisly salvage and your reanimate goes to the gy, oops. It's a luck based draw system with the deck

I'm running 6-8 reanimator spells though. I should have one in my opening hand.

Fair enough! I just won't go out and buy a play set, I'll wait till they come my way!

Saw a set on presale on eBay for $85

Still way outside of my budget (basically what I trade for plus a few bucks here and there, seeing as I'm 12)...

Packs!! it's only a rare. Go 4-0 or 3-0 at your store's pre-lease and win 15+ packs. I always go to those events because they're easy money.

You might be able to convince your parents to take you. They can go out then pick you up in a few hours :)

It's not really the convincing I'm worried about. I can't go to either PreRe, but I might go to the release. Are any of you guys from CA Bay Area?

Lol, 3 hours is a tad far... May actually need to convince my parents a bit...

Try small local shops or Channel Fireball in San Jose / Santa Clara. It's by that airport

It's a nice list (:
I'd like to see {whip of Erebu}s in there, but I'm not sure what you'd cut.
You might be able to play {drown in filth}.
Definitely sideboard {centaur healers} for the fast aggro match ups
Title: Re: Junk Rites 7 Drop Edition

Yeah, sideboard needs some work. 2 golgari charms, centaur healers, what else? Maybe 2 more rescue from the underworld?

Whip is crazy good. It's synergy with {obzedat ghost council} is rediculous.

And lord of the void? It gets exiled, oh well? You gave it haste and gained a creature to trade with it, +1 in my book. And exiling 6 other cards/potential answers.

Lets also not forget, it gives everything lifelink, which is crucial right now, and lifelink is arguably the strongest matchup to aggro right now.

So how many whips, and what to take out for them. I might run an {armada wurm} in place of something else. Thoughts? And if I get boxed at I'll run him!

I'd cut both ashen riders for whips. They're not my favorite card to be honest

The cool thing with ashen rider is if you sac it to {rescue from the underworld}, you exile a bunch of stuff, then when it does, bring it back with whip to exile more stuff.

Ashen rider is good because it has a double trigger, when it enters AND dies.

With the whip tho, it doesn't die. Skips to exile :/

Get your point tho. Still, I'd rather have angel of seren 8 times out of 10.

Mhm. I'm just commenting on someone's suggestion to bring both whips AND ashen.

I'm pretty sure whip activates archon's etb. Also, should I run another abrupt decay or sideboard?

He said it triggered twice. I said once, because he does NOT die when revived via whip

I'd just sideboard the Golgari charms of you feel like you need more

Ahh ok. Any who, sideboard help?
Title: Re: Junk Rites 7 Drop Edition

Sideboard:
{Drown in filth} x2-3 (fast aggo matchup)
{Golgari charm} x2 (enchantment heavy decks)
{Devour flesh} or Far//Away x3 (Hexproof)
{Centaur Healer} x4 (aggro)
{Lifebane zombie} x3 (white)

---> just what I'd suggest. Sideboards are always up to your local meta
---> witch stalker or blood baron if your meta is anything like mine

All 3 for 3? Putrefy is top tier removal...

Oh no, I didn't mean with the whip, I just meant the card itself has a double trigger normally.

It's a really great top end bomb that can close games for midrange/control. I feel esper would love to run it as a 1 of.
