Title: Boros slivers viable?
Post by: Melek the fire on August 20, 2013, 01:46:51 AM
I really want to make a slivers deck, but 3 and 4 color decks aren't my thing. Would a {red}/{white} one be competitive?

Well, the slivers for 2 you'll have are:

{Striking Sliver}
{Battle Sliver}
{Thorncaster Sliver}
{Blur Sliver}

{Sentinel Sliver}
{Steelform Sliver}
{Hive Stirrings}
{Bonescythe Sliver}

If you ran a playset of each plus 6-7 removal, it could work

Gruul slivers is a better shot due to the buffs and manaweft though they do have less removal

Naya is by far the best one, because most slivers are RG and a few awesome ones in W, plus {Hive Stirrings}. But Boros, it could work but not be as good as Gruul or Naya.
