I don't have my deck with me but need some help. I'm looking to make my deck more controlling 1v1. Looking for some good recommendations from older stuff. I'm not looking to spend more than $20-25/card but anything else will work.
{Jenara, Asura of War}, I presume? If you're looking for 1v1 control, I'd suggest leaning heavily towards her Blue color. Counterspells are big, and I've found that using {Parallel Thoughts} to give yourself a stack of only counterspells to choose from if you ever run out is a very effective tactic.
That is correct Gorzo. She's my baby and my first commander. I'm definitely getting that card. Seems really well for wraths and counters. What about creature wise. I should be able to post what I have tomorrow but some of them that I know off too are:

Not really. I have some exalted cards that I use, but those are more because I don't have a ton of creatures as it is.

I'm going to have my deck posted tonight for sure this way the exact build can be evaluated and suggestions can be made. I only have one person that I play commander against so it's tough to really learn and see the different sides of commander.
