Post by: alicelouise58 on August 17, 2013, 09:33:55 AM

You'll want to get some kick @$$ commons. The only one I know of off the top of my head is {lightning bolt}. But {kird ape} might work with the right set up. The guild gates are the pauper version of shock lands. Commons introduced before "new world order" will probably be the strongest, but I'm sure you can find good things after

UR Delverfiend! I have it posted in Casual. Can bump it for you if you'd like.

{Lightning Bolt}, {Rift Bolt}, and {Daze} are the most costly cards in the deck, but shouldn't be too hard to get. Or at least the lightning bolts anyway. They've been reprinted a million times.

If your going delver, you could run {brainstorm} to set it up so he's garunteed to transform...wow! I've found many, many uses for that card

If there are any miricale cards at common that could be an option with {brainstorm} in your deck

{brainstorm} in my opinion is easily the best blue card ever made, next to {ponder}

{Brainstorm} is definitely number 1. {Ponder} is next in line.

It's a tie between {brainstorm} and {counterspell} for me.
