What so you think the most viable deck in standard when rotation comes?

Rdw will be solid, and azorius control because we will have {sphinx's revalation}, {supreme vercidt}, {azorius charm}, {aetherling}, {angel of serinity} {jace architect of thought} and {jace memory adept} so azorius will be real good

I think Orzhov would be good. Enchantment deck would be good. Naya midrange is where I'll be going with ajani domri rade, archangel of thune, etc.

RDW (or red/something aggro) is almost always a viable deck.

It's really hard to say without actually seeing any Theros spoilers coming in yet, and only seeing what's going out.

But based on what we can see, I think green-white will be strong (possibly a continuation of hexproof auras or just agro auras. Theros is supposed to be enchantment heavy, after all, which may potentially make up for the loss of Geist and Invis. Stalker)

I see some potential in Rakdos agro/midrange, which is what I am attempting to build for. If the format slows down just a half-step with Innistrad block gone, {Rakdos, Lord of Riots} could become much more popular.

{Obzedat, Ghost Counsil} and {ætherling} will be very difficult to remove. Ætherling for obvious reasons, but Obzedat is immune to the now-best removal spell in standard ({doom blade}) and can't be removed by any sorceries. I predict Obzedat coming in for more play and a price tag rise to match.

There are a lot of hydras around, and more coming in Theros. A green-red Hydra deck with ramp and Ruric-Thar is possible as well.

But like I said, it's hard to guess without knowing exactly what Theros is bringing. But those are some hypotheses I'm making.

Mono-red has the potential to win by turn 3-4. And that is just RTR block constructed. Imagine what Theros might offer to that.

I'm hoping for lightning bolt...it only makes sense...maybe it's wishful thinking but still.

Well what if they don't call it lightning bolt. It could be something along the lines "Lightning Strike". No one would ever know!

That would be even worse because modern decks would run 4 of each....

It is not SCG premium. It is from Channelfireball.com (http://channelfireball.com), which is all free content. Here is a link to his set of videos for the deck: http://www.channelfireball.com/videos/channel-lsv-standard-ub/ (http://www.channelfireball.com/videos/channel-lsv-standard-ub/)
