Title: Empires standard deck
Post by: Zackthemiser on March 08, 2012, 02:39:10 PM
Hello folks, I'm new to the forums here, been using the app for a while now though. I figured I'd share my unorthodox deck based around getting the 3 empire items out.

4 x {Throne of empires}
4 x {Scepter of empires}
4 x {Crown of empires}
4 x {Pristine Talisman}
4 x {Honor of the pure}
4 x {Intangible virtue}
4 x {Mirran crusader}
4 x {Hero of Bladehold}
2 x {Suture Priest}
2 x {Elspeth Tirel}
2 x {Gather the Townsfolk}

Also includes 2 x {Buried ruin} to bring them back if needed.

Feedback is welcomed.
Thanks for checking out my deck.

You could be taking advantage of metalcraft with this deck.  Like {dispatch} or something.

Card drawing to find the pieces:
White/Colorless Standard
{Culling Dais}
{Frantic Salvage}
{Gitaxian Probe} (sort of)
{Tezzeret's Gambit}(sort of too)
{Ichor Wellspring}
{Infiltration Lens}
{Mentor of the Meek}
{Origin Spellbomb}
{Puresteel Paladin}
{Solemn Simulacrum}

If you're willing to splash blue, you'll have more options.

Instead of honor the pure, play the one that gives tokens +1/+1 and vigilance. Can't remember what it's called, sorry.  Also if ur adding blue play ponder and mana leak or dissipate, surgical extraction is an excellent sideboard card. And mabe celestial or dismember for removal..
