Any advice on improving this deck, or on what I should put in my side deck, would be appreciated.

Cut it down to 60 and there's no need for a Gruul deck to play 26 land I'd take out at least 2 Guildgates

Also, try not to just throw in random Gruul cards make your deck have a win con.

Also where's your  {Burning-Tree Emissary}

Take out Gruul charm too it stinks lol

Just posted a revised version, which includes a side deck.  Also striking slivers for speed.  Thoughts?

It's also rather expensive.  If I could afford it I'd have one or two of them in there.  Sadly, I can't afford it.

It looks interesting, but I don't have any.  And yes, I am limited on cards.  I only got back into this game in February after being out of it for over a decade.  Most of what I have is from Gatecrash or more recent, and mostly gotten from drafts.  So I'm trying to build this out of what I have.  Hopefully it will win me a few matches tomorrow at Gameday.

Good luck man, hope you get a few boosters to expand the collection.

I'd get rid of a lot of the larger creatures to improve the early game. The Goliath and the ragebeast take too much to cast and aren't that good. Also, Striking Sliver as a 1/1 first strike will be outclassed quickly.

Thinking of rotation, I'd consider  {Elvish Mystic} for a 1 drop,  {Kalonian Tusker} for a 2 drop.

I second that Domri Rade is very good in this deck, but it is an expensive card.
