Title: Coat of arms & changeling?
Post by: Zellius on August 07, 2013, 05:15:06 PM
Ok so my question is how would {coat of arms} and  key word changeling work with each other.

Ex. I have a {changeling hero} & a {changeling Titan} out  when my opponent has a {coat of arms} out does it work as a sub check on each type or by creature.

+1/+1 for each creature that shares a type. So both changelings would get +1/+1.

From oracle rulings:

10/4/2004   If a creature has more than one creature type, and one of those types matches the creature you are calculating for, then count that creature. Only one type needs to match in order to get counted.
10/4/2004   If you have a creature with more than one creature type, count all creatures which have either creature type.
10/1/2009   Sharing multiple creature types doesn't give an additional bonus. Coat of Arms counts creatures, not creature types.

This question has also been asked about 10 times on this forum alone.

I suggest everyone to get the card rulings addon. It answers so many questions that gets asked here, or just check out the card on the gathering website, the rulings in this app come from there.
