Title: Manapocolypse
Post by: rsweeney56 on August 06, 2013, 10:08:24 PM
This is my new take on elves. I want to make it competitive, and budget. Which is hard to do. I really don't like the traditional combo elves that everyone plays, so I made one that's a little different. Any advice would really help. A sideboard would be nice to if there's any input on that.
Lands: 16
{Forest} x 10
{Boseiju, Who Shelters All} x 2
{Wirewood Lodge} x 4

Creatures: 31
{Llanowar Elves} x 4
{Fyndhorn Elves} x 4
{Elvish Mystic} x 4
{Elvish Visionary} x 4
{Eternal Witness} x 2
{Elvish Archdruid} x 4
{Priest of Titania} x 4
{Craterhoof Behemoth} x 2
{Regal Force} x 2
{Emrakul, the Aeons Torn} x 1

Sorceries: 12
{Genesis Wave} x 4
{Green Sun's Zenith} x 4
{Tooth and Nail} x 4

Enchantment: 1
{Concordant Crossroads} x 1

Again, any help is appreciated. I know the hotspot for combo is turn 4 for legacy, mine hits 5 consistently. I know there are ways to speed it up but they're prett expensive ($).
Also, I've been having trouble because of the amount of card draw. I've been decking myself when {Regal Force} comes into play after a {Genesis Wave}. Any ideas on how to stop that?
