{Quicksilver Amulet} maybe?

Yeah, I'm thinking quicksilver amulet. I don't know about mana drain, it does give a brutal amount of mana for leviathans. How's that spell in Lorwyn with clash that has that same effect called?

Not sure. I'll look later. Are we adding merfolk to the buffet?

If you're planning on adding Merfolks make {Wrexial, the Risen Deep} your general so that you can have {B} in your deck
{Research the Deep} also fits with the flavor of the deck pretty well
Oh and take {Polar Kraken} out ! You need a lot of mana to cast Kraken's and Leviathan's so you can't loose time sacrificing lands !!
