Primal 60 cards, 0 sideboard 24 {Forest} 24 lands 4 {Garruk's Companion} 4 {Leatherback Baloth} 4 {Primalcrux} 4 {Strangleroot Geist} 4 {Llanowar Elves} 4 {Predator Ooze} 24 creatures 1 {Gaea's Touch} 3 {Primal Rage} 2 {Wild Pair} 3 {Spidersilk Armor} 2 {Rite of Passage} 1 {Verdant Succession} 12 other spells Sideboard

This is a mono green I built around primalcrux. Give me any tips on how to make it better pleas.

{Khalni Hydra} replacing {Predator Ooze}.

Khalni hydra is good but id say that ooze works great with wild pair and elves

As soon as I saw {primalcrux} I thought of {Khalni Hydra}.
You need 4 in this deck especially with the crux and twinning cards. Elves just make it all much much cheaper and easier to cast.
Might also be worth adding one ir two of each of {omnath, locus of mana} and {vorinvlex, voice of hunger}

The problem with {Predator Ooze} is that someone could copy it and have a permanent blocker. So if he doesn't get {Primal Rage} out the ooze would just sit getting perma blocked by a 1/1 {clone}.

I see this alot. I even see it at FNM and in a couple GP's I went this year.

Maybe a nice pair of {Swiftfoot Boots}?  Aww wait, copying usually doesn't target... 👎

I built a very similar deck around {Primalcrux} and I needed more ramp.  I ended up putting in {rofellos, Llanowar emissary} and 4 {priest of Titania}, 4 {Llanowar elves}, and 1 {elvish Archdruid} since it was laying around.  I also gave 2 {khalini hydra} and 2 {primordial hydra}.  {worldly tutor} is helpful for an early game search for rofellos or late game Primalcrux search.  {beast within} is always helpful too.

Would you trade a primalcrux or 2?
