Title: Undying help
Post by: Mattao19 on August 04, 2013, 10:51:25 PM
Is there an artifact or enchantment that's something like {T}: remove a +1/+1 counter from target creature? Something that works well with undying.

Or even something like  {Melira, Sylvok Outcast} but for +1/+1 counters?

{Thrull Parasite} also a creature but works as well.

By the way, there are no artifacts or enchantments that do what you want, at least in standard.

I've posted a few times. {triskelion} + {mikaeus, the undying} = infinite damage. Use one counter to hurt opponent, two more to kill triskelion. He comes back, actually with an additional 1/1. Two to opponent two to opponent, repeat repeat done

Finding some way to put a -1/-1 counter on the creature will also remove the +1/+1. So things like serrated biskelion and various cards with persist would end up causing some havoc. I actually hve a Blood Artist, Ivy lane denizen, persist creature deck. Infinite creature cycling is always fun.

This isn't right. If you have a creature with a +1/+1 counter and then find a way to give it a -1/-1 counter it will then have 1 of each type of counter. They DO NOT cancel each other out.

False.

Quote121.3. If a permanent has both a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter on it, N +1/+1 and N -1/-1 counters are removed from it as a state-based action, where N is the smaller of the number of +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on it.
