How does the effect of platinum angel works? When the card is in play does my life gets affected?
Everything happens as it normally would. Any situation that would cause you to lose, does nothing. You could have 20 poison counters, no cards in your library, -30 life and still keep playing.
-Thank you a lot!!!
However, keep in mind that when the {Platinum Angel} leaves play, if you're out of cards, have 0 or less life, or have 10 or more poison counters, you still lose. Cards that remove her abilities until end of turn make this occur as well. Try some protection like {Cloak and Dagger} or {Protective Bubble} :)
-Or a darksteel plate!? :)
Yup, that'd be good too! ({Darksteel Plate}) just be careful of things that override the indestructible, like {Revoke Existence}. She isn't being destroyed in that case, so she could still be removed! :(
-Do not worry she's going to be a diversion for a different purpose.
What is the point of {platinum angel} ? To make your oppents rage quit?
If your opponents have not way to deal with a platinum, they ought to quit.
Alot of people dont come prepared for certain. Slap a hexproof on the Angel and that just an auto rage quit. Platinun Angel is the Shedinja of Magic :D

Aaacckk! Don't cross the streams! ;D
{platinum angel} is cool but it sucks when you can't get rid of your {abyssal persecutor} and your opponent is at -156 life.

Is the persecutor even really all that good in the first place?
If I own a imtg://card?name=abyssal%20persecutor, I would for a buck. Why would I own a card that don't let me win the duel and the only way to get rid of it is sacrificing it.
Somebody here (I forget who) posted the following "Combo":
{Platinum Angel} + {Abyssal Persecutor} + {Mycosynth Lattice} + {Leonin Abunas} + {DarkSteel Forge}
From that point, you lock them into an eternal endless game. Til the end of time. XD

{Evacuation}?
I think that would work. Use like {boom/bust} first to kill all their lands.
Wait sry {bust}

I luv the persecutor. I just run him in decks that sac creatures. Most ppl concede with negative life and the persecutor still on the board.....knowing that I will draw an {innocent blood} or {Phyrexian tower} or many others. {heartless summoning} + {abyssal persecutor} = 5/5 trample flyer for 2 black mana is all I'm sayin

I've always like {Abyssal Persecutor} and {Bazaar Trader} right when they get low on life. XD. "Here,

-I was thinking the same. Let the opponent cry of joy and then give him on adoption.
Hahahahahaha!!!!
