Shouldn't the thread be called "anyone like living in a trailer for the weekend", that's basically what you described except maybe a little more comfortable.
Agreed with the others, real camping is roughing it with a tent maybe a sleeping bag an your own skills in the woods. But I also like to hunt and fish and learning survival skills. Nothing like living amongst nature.
Im gearing up for a 27 mile hike in October up in Arkansas. Eagle Rock Loop. Love camping and hiking.
I used to live in a small town surrounded by national forest and I do enjoy camping. Something about removing yourself from the world to exist in nature is very liberating. :D

Yep. Nothing like sitting behind a tree, on a mountain with a fully equipped SV98. A ballistics scope and a straight pull bolt make me a deadly camper.
I love to camp in a tent. Specialy when you can get a big group of your family to go. My favorite thing to do is keep the fire going. ( Its fun to play play with xP. )

As for hunting, guns are no fun, I have a bowtech assassin compound bow, and I am 100% ready for hunting season.

Bears are nice, but I prefer Ton-Tons, especially when im hunting the harsh landscapes of Hoth.

And now I hop this hypocritical bandwagon and offer my 2 cents. It doesnt matter if you have a tent, a trailer, or a pile of pine boughs. If you have to get up in the morning and walk into nature to take a pee you have achieved camping status.
guys camping is just the best, hiding behind a bullet proof sheild with shock charges and claymores defending you while you kill everyone else with your Mk48 is just the best thing.

Someday I want to go out in the woods and live there for a month. Sure I'll have a nasty B.O smell when I get back, but eh. Its worth it

Some people take RVs, some hammocks, some tents, all of the above enjoy the outdoors.
I camp all over California, whether it be the high desert of Apple Valley, the Sierra mountain range or San Onofre state beach. I love it all. Currently gearing up at REI left and right for all my backpacking gear, my gf and I plan to do a large portion of the PCT one day.

C4 laced with proximity shock charges work best for me, they fit entirely onto ceilings and are damn near impossible to survive
