Title: Changeling + Door
Post by: Deebiia on July 29, 2013, 08:21:57 PM
So if I have a {coat of arms} out and play two creatures with changeling, what is the effect? I only ask because they are all creature types at the same time.

They'll get +1/+1. They get 1/1 counters based on how's many other creatures you control that share at least one type. It has nothing to do with how's my creature types they share. This is a pretty tricky question that's been brought up a few times here, but give {Coat of Arms} a close read and you'll see what I mean.

In addition, this is answered in the oracle rulings for this card

Yep. So having two {Figure of Destin}ies doesn't give each +4/+4 for Kithkin Spirit Warrior Avatar. Now if you had a Kithkin and a Spirit token, Figures get +3 and the tokens get +2.
I know this was a useless example, but I like hypothetical situations.
