Title: Illusiontst's bracers
Post by: dexis on July 23, 2013, 11:10:23 PM
I played Illusionists bracers on my opponent's guttersnipe. Can I choose who or what is dealt damage, (along with myself) or is it the creature's controller who chooses? I think I choose, but he's more experienced and says otherwise (Can somebody make it so Guttersnipe and Illusionist's bracers are blue and you can veiw them from here?).Thanks.

{Illusionist's Bracers}
{Guutersnipe}
You choose. The artifact may be on his creature, but you own it, just like enchantments. However, you can't equip artifacts to opponent creatures.

I have this vision in my mind that he had forcefully equipped the bracers on his opponent's unwilling creature.

A: You can only equip to a creature you control and...
B:  {illusionist bracers} copies "activated" abilities.

{guttersnipe}s ability is "triggered", not "activated".
