Title: Does fireshrieker have a place in Bant Hexproof?
Post by: Cllzzrd on July 23, 2013, 09:37:58 AM
I think {Fireshrieker} does have a place in the deck. Maybe not as a 4 of, but maybe as a 2 of. It can help you recover from board wipes, it is more reliable than {silverblade paladin} as it can only get killed by artifact removal, and it is fairly low on the mana curve.

I know it isn't a creature. You don't even think it could fit as a supplement to all the enchantments?

No. The mana curve is too high. By the time you can cast it, and then equip it, you should already be swinging lethal. Plus, there are better things to be casting. I honestly will be dropping my {Abundant Growth}s for {Indestructability}. And that is already far too much. This adds much more survivability to board wipes.
