When is it okay? Should you use protection? At what age is a good age to start having sex?
Thoughts?
It's ok when you are responsible enough to take care of a child in case something happens. You should always use protection until you and your partner are both 100% ready for a child.

Please, please use protection. All it takes is one little lie/mistake and suddenly you have an incurable disease on your wang or lady-bits.
That out of the way, if you think you are ready for sex, be ready for all reprocussions. A baby isn't something most want, so if you aren't ready for it, don't have sex. I understand hormones speak louder than rationality, but seriously, it can change your life.
My personal opinion is use two forms of protection, a condom and a female contraceptive as well, as you can never be too safe. However lady's be sure you know what's going on with those contraceptives, some are dangerous to certain people. Last opinion, be sure to have fun and enjoy it too haha.
1: get married
2: make babies
In that order, with nothing else. With no one except your spouse.

There is no clear cut answer to this question. Most people I know ha sex at an early age. I myself was already legally an adult, my fiancé as well. We had an unexpected pregnancy (while on birth control), and we now have a wonderful 2.5 year old son. Luckily, we are at an age where we were ready for parenthood. I'd recommend that anyone who ha sex is ready to deal with potential consequences. And always use protection!

I think that sex if ok when both partners are ready and know what sex can lead to my girlfriend and I are only 15 we've talked about it considered what could happen if we arent careful and we decided to wait for another month then we took the proper precautions before we did it being able to have sex is more about maturity and knowing possible outcomes of having sex
