We name cards that seem good, but nobody wants them. The next person writes what is wrong with it, then they post a card, then we rinse and repeat.
{Council of the Absolute}
Ok, this cards seems amazing. Say you are facing a combo deck. What combo? Target those pesky cards your opponent has in their deck, or those pesky lands/basic lands. You know, the cards that are quite abundant in most decks. Play it with bombs like akroma to have lots of fun too! Plus bounce it back to target something else.
Why does nobody seem to like.
It feels very limited; a sideboard card maybe
You have to know your opponent is holding certain cards and you have to move your deck around in order to accommodate the council.
Perhaps for throwing up hexmage or the vigilance flyer from DGM it's great! For sure a great standard sideboard card
But when we get to legacy and modern. There's just so much more you can put into your deck than him, he's a side board for round 2+ IMO unless you use him to lower cost of your bombers
Never mind for creatures.
That's why this card sucks.
He costs 4, doesn't beat faces, doesn't hit creatures and can be killed. Not optimal at this time. May have a place in Theros, who knows what that meta will look like?
He's useless with cards like a{Render Solent}, and has basically no use in the long urn.
I anticipate a slight increase in his use with theros for two reasons. One mono color sets have more colorless mana to reduce the cost of. Two post rotation more people will be playing the same cards due to a smaller card pool.
{master biomancer}
His impact is huge with tokens of any kind.
Master Biomancer isn't used as much because there is almost too much out there for simic decks. Hydras, {Renegade Krasis}, {Vorel of the Hull Clad}, {Gyre Sage}..... It's almost like wizards thought people would be skeptical of Evolve so they made it too abundant and almost too powerful.
{Isperia, Supreme Judge}
6 for a 6/4 flyer plus whenever a creature attacks you or a planeswalker you control you draw a card, that's great! He's a little expensive but in my opinion still highly playable.
Rule of thumb, for the 4+ mana slot a card either needs to have an immediate effect or be protected from removal.
Also for a creature that wants your opponent to attack it should atleast be able to survive combat like {consecrated sphinx}.
Also, axorius has little card draw. More life gain and control, and Isperia does neither! There are better cards. That card that doesn't let creatures attack you or a walker you control is way better. She shouldn't be a mythic-- heck, {Mizzium Mortars}, a meh card, can kill her! She's worse than TAJIC!
{Epic Experiment}.
This card is BOSS. You can cast a bunch of instants and sorceries for free, potentially killing your opponent, then imagine that with {Reverbate} or {Blistercoil Weird} or something! Boss!

Won a draft match with this card
Totally legit
So should I use a different card?
