BW Control (Revised Version) 75 cards, 15 sideboard 12 {Swamp} 8 {Plains} 4 {Godless Shrine} 24 lands 2 {Obzedat, Ghost Council} 4 {Desecration Demon} 3 {Lifebane Zombie} 9 creatures 4 {Grim Return} 3 {Orzhov Charm} 4 {Devour Flesh} 3 {Doom Blade} 3 {Duress} 4 {Silence} 2 {Diabolic Tutor} 4 {Blind Obedience} 27 other spells Sideboard 3 {Imposing Sovereign} 4 {Sin Collector} 1 {Orzhov Charm} 1 {Doom Blade} 4 {Merciless Eviction} 1 {Duress} 1 {Lifebane Zombie} 15 sideboard cards Notes: I'm currently on a $100 budget, so I can't use any super expensive rotating cards like LotV. Any suggestions to make this better? I've never played control before, and cards seem to be low-costed enough right now that I decided to try it. EDIT: I changed it up a bit by taking out some stuff (or boarding it) for 2x Obzedat and 4x desecration demon. I also added a sideboard. One thing i did not do was to add Isolated Chapels, since I don't want to lose money with rotation. I know this makes it a lot worse, but it is worth it for me since i don't go to tournaments often anyway. |

You do already have a lot of removal, but you might want a sweeper like {Mutilate} or even {Barter in Blood}. {Terminus} is also really good. Also, you may want some card draw--{Underworld Connections}, {Cremate}, and {Sign in Blood} are all pretty decent options. This may be out of your budget, but {Restoration Angel} and {Lifebane Zombie} are friends. {Crypt Ghast} is worth a thought, but I'm not sure if it's a card your build really needs. It combos pretty well with {Debt to the Deathless}, but that may be a little narrow and difficult to pull off consistently. {Vampire Nighthawk} is still pretty amazing. {Blood Baron of Vizkopa} is pretty awesome, and is probably better against creature decks than Obzedat, even though I like Obzedat more. I think BW control could be a thing, so I'm glad someone is trying it. Let us know how your deck performs!
