I'm going to try this. It's cheap, And I have most of the parts. Any ideas for upgrades? Also side board ideas.

 {Ogre Battledriver} so the following turn you can play some burn spells, kill their creatures, get 1/1 elementals from the pyromancer, (which turn into 3/1 hasters) and swing in

Maybe {nearhearth pilgrim} just for the Reckoner infinite life combo?

Maybe side these in versus control in place of the imposing sovereign?

{Strionic Resonator} for the Assemble the Legion.

{Strionic Resonator} for the Assemble the Legion.
That seems like setting up too much IMO.

Is it worth splashing blue for  {Ætherling} and card draw/supreme verdict?

Not really. If you're gnna put blue in you might as well become American midrange/control

{legions initiative} can work against your token generation from {young pyromancer} and {assemble the legion}, at least if you need to flash your creatures out of a board wipe

With all those potential tokens,  {Hellrider} would be a nice fit.

Your gonna want to bump up the land count if you want to realistically cast {Assemble the Legion} on T5. This seems to be becoming more midrangey now though, idk if that wa the initial thought process behind it. Yes, a lot of the high coating cards are sweet, but ask yourself: What do you really want this deck to do?

Added one more mana. Lowered the average Cmc. Swapped {Legion's Initiative} for  {Intangible Virtue}. I also added 2 of  {Gather the Townsfolk} to work as early blockers or a bonus instant to trip the pyromancer. The sample draws seemed good. Now for a sideboard? Suggestions?

You do know if you use the blink effect of initiative any tokens you have don't come back into play. Not saying you don't but some people over look that fact and think they are safe from board wipes. It will keep your pyromancer and Reckoner alive though. Plus the buffs are nice

I liked the vigilance from intangible virtue more than saving my guys from a board wipe. Any sideboard ideas?

Couple sideboard ideas

{skullcrack} - anti life gain
{ash zealot} - anti graveyard deck
{blasphemous act} - cuz who doesn't like an epic kamikaze win with boros Reckoner?
{legion loyalist} - great 1 drop with sweet battalion once you get more creatures
{spark trooper} - decent way to gain back life, bad choice against another burn deck / fog deck though

 {Skullcrack}
{Pillar of Flame}

Are deffinites. I was also thinking about
{Lingering Souls} and b/r duels against heavy flying.

O yeah that is sweet against bant/esper, a direct swap with the sovereign.

{Mindsparker} combined with {Skullcrack} can make for an extremely backfired {Sphinx's Revelation} 😂

Added the sideboard. Suggestions for changes, adjusting numbers and potential matchup issues are much welcomed. Thanks to everyone who has made suggestions.
