Title: How do you send
Post by: Seth5000 on July 15, 2013, 10:37:09 PM
I would like to know how you send your cards
I traded with someone on YouTube and when she got the envelope it was empty so idk what happend to the cards
The envelope was apparently damaged so they put it inside another envelope without the cards

I usually put the card in a sleeve and then a hard sleeve over that. Then I just put it in the envelope and add tape if nessecary. If the trade is large I'll buy a bubble wrap envelope

I package very similar to Darius. Sometimes I wrap the hard toploader in paper for extra protection, but I've never had an issue. A letter can get damaged/ripped/etc so it does happen but it's not common.

(I've sent this way countless times on eBay and either never hear back from people or receive positive feedback).

Sometimes taping it to the envelope is all you need to do IMO. I ordered a mint/untouched Japanese  {Sword of War and Peace} and it arrived literally no sleeve wrapped in a piece of newspaper. It looked perfect, and was surprised it got to me in one piece...

So yeah, it's random and sucks when the machine eats them, I'm sorry man.

Plastic sleeve and tape the sleeve to the front of the envelope on the inside. Then tape the seal part of the envelope

I bought a stifle on ebay and it was in a sleeve with no top loader and it was all creased up. Sucks. Still playable but shot its value for sure.
