Notes:
Looking for more ways to make this deck even faster. I have a consistent win basis against most decks I come across.

You usually want at least 4 one drops in an aggro deck.  It makes it so you get something out that first turn, so you can swing turn 2.  When they might not have something.

1 drops would be nice, but at the moment, I don't have any 1 drop things other than Delver. Thought about {shock}, but I lose too much curve.
I don't typically have too much trouble with other decks that use 1 drops, the most common threats I face are all non-haste, so that still bides me time to do something about it. Usually my answer is a well placed Augur of izzet charm.

The young pyromancer's are an experiment.

I think you should reconsider leaving shock out. It kills most things at instant speed and is cheap, leaving mana open for a counter spell if they try shenanigans. It also adds a little bit of reach with the guttersnipe.

Probably 3 {Shock}. It's been a game-changer for me and with the gauntlet, it's four damage turn 1. Impressive, and possibly a win.

Shock sounds viable, but I'm unsure as to what to take out for it.
Also, not to criticize, but how do you get the gauntlet out turn 1? It is a 5 drop.

On a post-note, my LGS's meta isn't hyper aggro. We have some reanimate decks, a couple control, and only two aggro.

Right. And no matter what, {Elite Arcanist}. Just. Do. It.

And if you are going to put shock in, try adding some {Chandra, Pyromaster}?

Good card but kills my flow. Plus, I wouldn't be able to keep him alive very long. Turning him into a body for them to shoot at. Sure, it wastes a kill spell, but ultimately, nets me very little. In this deck, anyway. I do plan to put him into one of my other decks I am building.

My fault, didn't see it in there.

Ever think of adding a few  {Nivix Cyclops}?

I have. Gonna see if I can fit it in somewhere. Haven't had a ton of time to play test it out. My only experience with Nivix ended with it getting bombed on the moment it hit the field.

As with any of a deck's big guy, or important key piece. I just need to get his role down-pat.

Anyway, going to let this thread die, unless anyone else wants to chime in on synergy, combo ideas, etc... Have to steer away from M13 now, so I could use some replacement cards as well. Like {unsummon} is replaced by the 2 drop version, {disperse}, and {searing spear} is replaced by {shock}.

{Fluxcharger} could possibly go well in here.

I did try him, but he didn't really fit the style for me.

Tested this deck at my last FNM, went 3-1, lost to a very well built American Control.

Tested this out using Nivix, I agree 100% whole-heart-edly that it should be in this deck.
