Sorry, messed up on the deck building. There should also be 18 shadowborn apostles, 4 shadowborn demons, and 4 xathrid necromancers.
I was thinking about a deck like this too.
Mine was:
15 Swamps
35 Shadowborn Apostles
4 Griselbrand
4 of that card that reruns all creatures from every graveyard to the battlefield under your control.
2 card draw can't remember the name but it's M14
The thing about this deck is.
Oh you are playing {shadowborn apostle}??? Nope! {Slaughter Games}.
And then you scoop.

This! Lol yeah that'd make me scoop. Have to have a sideboard full of creatures if they drop that in game one.
Ya but who plays slaughter games I rarely see it mb
{Slaughter Games} is a sb card. So you may have a chance on game one. Game two you lose. Game three, there is not a sb that I can think of that can save you...
Take out 15 of them and add Pack Rats lol
Self-mill like {mulch} and {grisly salvage} to speed through your deck, then play an {immortal servitude} to bring them to the battlefield, sac and fetch, Grim Return to do it over again. {Crypt Ghast} to help ensure you have the mana to do all of that in one turn.
I surprisingly never thought of that that's actually a good idea lol thanks
Now I'm sad for not holding onto my {Overgrown Tomb}s because I'd love to try this sort of deck out. Maybe if we get some decent demons in Theros, this could replace reanimator after rotation.
Very true I just created my deck bc hey it sounds like fun and it will be very very cheap lol
