Title: Combat steps?
Post by: Thetrufflehunter on July 10, 2013, 01:54:49 AM
I was playing a match against my brother, who thought if I had an {arbor elf} with {lure} and an 18/18 token with trample, if he blocked and killed the arbor elf with {master of cruelties} (or anything else with first strike) then the rest of his creatures could block my 18/18. Isn't the chose blockers and blocking steps simultaneous for all creatures?

Yes so your 18/18 would not being able to be blocked by any creatures! Unless a creature could block more than once I believe

Thank you. So if I give {engulfing slagwurm} {lure} it's basically half a creature wipe?
