You could go with a zombie theme and use all 6 lords...(ie. {Undead Warchief}, {Zombie Master}) or you could go lock out with {Maralen of the Mornsong} and {Stranglehold} or {Possibility Storm} and {Arcane Laboratory} and then just beat them down with {Thraximundar}.
I think {Thraximundar} is usually played as a creature less control deck with many {Mana Vault}, sol ring, mana crypt and {Grim Monolith}. I've played against it and he played a turn 2 thrax and i was like gg.
{Sheoldred, Whispering One}, {Butcher of Malakir}, or even {Defiler of Souls}
