Title: Infinite Turns?
Post by: michael19 on July 08, 2013, 10:16:52 AM
Is I possible to exile {time walk} with {isochron scepter} if I play {trait doctoring}?

I don't believe you can because  {Trait Doctoring} only changes the color word, not the card type.

And since  {Isochron Scepter} only exiles instant cards,  {Time Walk} is unable to be exiles because it is a sorcery.

No no, I thought that {trait doctoring} could replace the word {instant} with {sorcery}. Are there any cards that could switch that sort of text?

It only replaces the color or basic land type. For example, a creature is equipped with {sword of feast and famine}. You can target the sword and change either black or green to a color of your choice, until end of turn.

The other option is basic land type. If a player has {blood moon} on the battlefield you can change the word mountain to any other basic land: swamp, island, forest, plains.
